What if They Made an American Version of Doctor Who?

On this week's episode of Halfway Planet, Laurence and Tarah explore a quite controversial topic: what if Doctor Who was remade for American television? What would that look like? Who would be the stars? And could it ever work? Listen below.

What you need to know, in fact I was truly surprised this wasn't mentioned, is that there WAS an American version of Doctor Who. In the 90's Fox produced a made-for-tv movie and it was just as dreadful as you could imagine. What's even more sad is that it is actually considered canon to the series.

Also, please tell Tarah that Who's Line is it Anyway is still being made. It's on Mondays on the CW network and Wayne Brady is still on it.
