On Tuesday, I gave you the trick, now for the treat. That's right, here's part 2. Watch your favourite British host, Laurence Brown, try out more American Halloween Candy. This video suggestion comes from Lauren Wransky. Don't forget to check out Part 1

Click play on the video below and be sure to subscribe to Lost in the Pond on YouTube.

Sometimes, it's better hearing me in a British accent. Click the red button below.

Laurence Brown is a British man writing his way through the truly bizarre world of America - a place he sometimes accidentally calls home and a place he still hasn't quite figured out after seven years. Thankfully, his journey is made 12% easier by the fact that his accent makes him sound much smarter than he is. For evidence of this, subscribe to his popular Lost in the Pond web series over on YouTube.

  1. You should consider trying candied apples sometime.

  2. We actually bought some of those for the video, but it would have run on too long if I'd included everything we bought! Haha!

  3. Good post Brown's! Two Chicago based (being a Chicagoan) candy companies are: Tootsie Industries and Ferrara Pan Candy (both with HQ's in Chicagoland). Also, Mars has a large factory in Oak Park, IL as well as Wrigley (now a division of Mars) based on Goose Island with a factory in Yorkville, IL.

  4. PS...sorry, didn't fully articulate my point. Tootsie Industries, Ferrara Pan (which you showed), and Wrigley all do a wide range of candies/chocolates/sweets that may or may not be more palatable to Mr. Brown too as they all have big brand portfolios. lol!
