In  what has to be one of the most surreal moments of my life, last night I joined hundreds of Chicagoans on the streets of Wrigleyville as the Chicago Cubs - a team famous for its continued failures - landed the World Series for the first time in 108 years.

It continues something of a lucky trend for me: in 2007, I visited Indianapolis for the first time; the Colts won the Super Bowl that same year. In 2011, I attended my first ever MLB game at the home of the St. Louis Cardinals; the Cardinals went on to win the World Series that same year. This year, I moved to Chicago.
