Finding America

Me and Tarah

As many of you know, I recently set myself the ridiculously optimistic goal of visiting and documenting all fifty states by the end of the decade. I have almost everything I need for the journey: trains, a camera, this book, my wife, blind ambition. The only thing I don’t have... is money. Perhaps you can help.

On March 21, 2017, I launched my official Patreon account, located at Here, you can pledge any monthly amount you’d like, safe in the knowledge that every penny goes toward the improvement of the channel and the expansion of my Finding America series.

If every single one of my YouTube subscribers pledged just $1 a month, we’d have enough money to set up production in a different state every... single... weekend. And your state could be next!

Laurence Brown is a British man writing his way through the truly bizarre world of America - a place he sometimes accidentally calls home and a place he still hasn't quite figured out after seven years. Thankfully, his journey is made 12% easier by the fact that his accent makes him sound much smarter than he is. For evidence of this, subscribe to his popular Lost in the Pond web series over on YouTube.
